Privacy Policy

At Conflixis, accessible from www.conflixis.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Conflixis and how we use it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Conflixis. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our website. Where we rely on your consent — for example, for advertising cookies — we ask for it separately, and you can withdraw it at any time using Cookie Settings, linked at the bottom of every page.

Information we collect

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our website
  • Improve, personalize, and expand our website
  • Understand and analyze how you use our website
  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
  • Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website, and for marketing and promotional purposes
  • Send you emails
  • Find and prevent fraud

Log Files

Conflixis follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and this is a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. We do not use log files to identify individual visitors. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information. Separately, when you submit a form, the referring website and landing page from your visit are stored with your inquiry, as described in How We Track Where Inquiries Come From below.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Conflixis uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie and similar technology we use, with its purpose and duration.

Analytics and Advertising

We use the following third-party analytics and advertising technologies on our website.

Google Analytics (Google LLC). We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website — for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (such as from a search engine or a campaign link), which links they click, whether they submit a form, and the choice made in our cookie banner. Google Analytics collects information such as your device and browser type, approximate location, the referring website, and a cookie identifier. We do not send the contents of our forms, such as your name or email address, to Google. We have turned off Google Analytics’ advertising features, such as Google signals and ad personalization. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation). We load the LinkedIn Insight Tag only if you click “Accept” in our cookie banner, and never if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie Settings, linked at the bottom of every page. With your consent, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the results of our LinkedIn advertising (for example, whether a visitor who saw or clicked one of our ads later submitted a form), to show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited our website, and to receive aggregated reports about the professional characteristics of our visitors, such as industry and job function. The Insight Tag collects information such as your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you visit, timestamps, and cookie identifiers, which LinkedIn may associate with your LinkedIn account. LinkedIn provides us with aggregated reports only and does not share with us personal data that identifies you. LinkedIn members can control how this data is used for ads in their LinkedIn advertising settings; visitors without a LinkedIn account can use LinkedIn’s guest controls.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information: we do not ask for, or use, advertising cookies, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag never loads.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, our website does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control, as described above, and you can decline advertising cookies in our cookie banner.

How We Track Where Inquiries Come From

When you submit a form on our website, we also record how you found us: the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), the first page you landed on, and the website that referred you. Our website keeps this information in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days so it can be included if you submit a form on a later visit. It is sent with your form submission and stored with your inquiry in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, so we can understand which of our marketing activities are effective.

How Long We Keep Information

  • Form submissions, including the lead-source information described above, are kept for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to manage our business relationship with you, or as required by law.
  • Lead-source information in your browser is kept in local storage for up to 90 days, or until you clear your browser’s site data.
  • Google Analytics keeps detailed event data about visits for up to 14 months. After that, only aggregated reports that do not identify individual visitors remain.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag data, if you have accepted advertising cookies, is handled by LinkedIn: it removes direct identifiers within seven days and deletes the remaining pseudonymized data within 180 days.

Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

Our advertising and analytics partners, and their privacy policies, are:

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Conflixis, which are sent directly to users’ browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

We decide whether these technologies load on our website — the LinkedIn Insight Tag loads only with your consent — but we do not control how these partners use the cookies they set. Please see their privacy policies above.

Third Party Privacy Policies

Conflixis’ Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers’ respective websites.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)

Under the CCPA and CPRA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

Request that a business that collects a consumer’s personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.

Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.

Request that a business that sells or shares a consumer’s personal data, not sell or share the consumer’s personal data.

We do not sell personal information. The LinkedIn Insight Tag may be considered “sharing” of personal information — such as online identifiers, IP address, and browsing activity on our website — for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA and CPRA. We load it only if you click “Accept” in our cookie banner, and never if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can withdraw your consent at any time using Cookie Settings, linked at the bottom of every page, or by emailing privacy@conflixis.com.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address listed at the bottom of this page.

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Conflixis does not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

There may be instances where you voluntarily provide us with personal health information (PHI) through our website. This may be information which, when linked to health data, is considered sensitive and protected under HIPAA regulations. This could be information such as names, addresses, dates of birth, social security numbers, certificate or license numbers, or other unique identifiers or characteristics.

Any PHI that you provide, or is collected, used, or disclosed though our website will be safeguarded in compliance with HIPAA for privacy and security. We will not sell or share such information for marketing. With any PHI that is handled by us, you reserve the right to the following:

Right of access - You have the right to request access to the health information you’ve submitted to us.

Right to file a complaint - If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with us or directly with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
